Recycling rate of plastic packaging waste in the European Union 2010-2021, by country
Slovakia had the highest recycling rate of plastic packaging waste in the European Union (EU-27), at 56.3 percent. Although most European Union member countries had improved their plastic packaging recycling rates since 2010, several countries experienced a decline. Slovenia, for example, saw a drop from more than 67 percent to 50 percent during the period in consideration.
