Current and desired weekly frequency of teleworking Japan 2023
According to a survey conducted in October 2023, close to 40 percent of employed persons in Japan who worked remotely did so at least three days a week. Respondents expressed their desire to do telework more frequently in the future, with around 54 percent saying they wished to work remotely at least three days weekly and almost one-quarter being in favor of teleworking every day of the week.
