Frequency of teleworking Japan 2021-2023
According to a survey conducted in October 2023, close to 11 percent of employed persons in Japan who worked remotely did so five to seven days a week. Around 76 percent of respondents reported working remotely at least once a week. The survey was conducted among respondents who had done telework in the year prior to the survey. On average, respondents worked remotely 2.3 days per week.
