According to a survey conducted in South Korea in late 2022, medical tourists from Southeast Asia paid the most for medical services on average, at around 12.5 thousand U.S. dollars per capita. They, along with patients from the Middle East and the CIS region, paid above the overall average of about 6.5 thousand dollars.
