The total number of passengers in public transportation in Norway amounted to roughly 626.2 million in 2022, which was a growth of nearly 33 percent compared to the previous year. During the time under consideration, bus was the most common used transportation mode, with about 387 million passengers as of 2022. Tram and suburban railway had 162 million passengers.
