This statistic shows the capacity of long-term care services providers by type and by region within the United States in 2015-2016, per 1,000 persons aged 65 and older. In the southern part of the U.S., adult day services center have a capacity of six beds/participants per 1,000 persons aged 65 and older. Long-term care services account for a variety of services such as health, personal care, and supportive services dedicated to frail older people and adults with a limited capacity for self-care in cases such as injury or mental disability.
