Net premiums written by property and casualty insurers in the U.S. 2004-2022
2022 was the strongest year for property and casualty insurance companies in the United States in terms of premiums written. In that year, the net premiums of the U.S. property and casualty insurance industry reached approximately 775.1 billion U.S. dollars, up from only 618.1 billion U.S. dollars in 2018.
