As of 2023, most surveyed senior AI executives across all addressed industries in the United States of America and Europe claimed to be responsible for the AI strategies in their companies. The consumer industry had the largest share of respondents answering that no one owns the AI strategy today, and about five percent of the executives in healthcare & life sciences or biotech claimed no to know.
