Global banking malware families detected 2023, by the number of known variants
In 2023, the banking malware Godfather had 1,171 known variants. Nexus malware ranked first, with nearly 500 variants, while Saderat had around 300 types. Overall, the top five malware families had over 50 variants as of 2023.
