Final energy consumption share of the transport sector Philippines 2022, by fuel type
Across fuel types, diesel was the most consumed type of fuel by the transportation sector, accounting for 48.2 percent of the total final energy demand in 2022. This was followed by gasoline which held 42.1 percent. Meanwhile, biodiesel accounted for one percent of the total final energy consumed in that year.
