Turnover in the transport and storage industry in Iceland 2015-2020
Between 2015 and 2020, the air transport industry in Iceland was responsible for the highest share of the transport and storage sector turnover. In 2020, the turnover for the air transport sector totaled nearly 647 million euros. However, this was a roughly 60 percent decrease compared to the previous year, largely influenced by the Icelandic airline Wow air ceasing to trade in 2019.
