A 2023 study analyzed the main resources used for trip inspiration by travelers across 15 global countries. Overall, 40 percent of the sample reported using YouTube as their main source of travel inspiration. That said, while 79 percent of respondents from India relied on YouTube for that purpose, only a quarter of surveyed travelers in France mentioned doing the same.
