Consumer concerns about targeted ads in Italy 2022
During a 2022 survey, two-thirds (or 66 percent) of responding consumers from Italy stated that the fact that their personal data could be used for other purposes and/or they did not know with whom it might be shared was a very important concern of theirs regarding online targeted advertising. In the meantime, 65 percent of respondents expressed concerns regarding their online data collected or a profile made about them without knowing it or explicitly given a chance to agree.
