More than 50 percent of all bank account holders indicated that they were well informed about their financial situation in Germany in the first quarter of 2024, according to Statista's Consumer Insights. In Statista's survey, 36 percent of the respondents expressed doubts about their financial future. In terms of attitude towards online and mobile finance, 35 percent of the respondents could imagine dealing with financial transactions exclusively online, and 26 percent via smartphone.
