In the financial year 2020, the share of complaints received by the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC), regarding the Disability Discrimination Act, amounted to 43.6 percent. The number of complaints increased compared to the beginning of the measured period, financial year 2014. Other types of complaints received by the AHRC include complaints regarding the Racial Discrimination Act, the Sex Discrimination Act, the Age Discrimination Act, and the Australian Human Rights Commission Act.
