In 2022, the United States represented approximately a third of the value of art and antiques imports worldwide. Over the years considered, except for 1990, the North American country has constantly accounted for the highest share of the global value from art and antiques imports. Meanwhile, imports to Hong Kong SAR generated 15 percent of the total value in 2022, rising significantly from the figure reported in 1990.
