Households with clean water access in urban and rural Vietnam 2018-2022
In 2022, almost all households in urban areas in Vietnam had clean water, while the share of households living in rural areas of the country with access to hygienic water was slightly lower, at 97 percent. The percentage of Vietnamese households with clean water access had been gradually increasing year on year in the past decade.
