Between 2015 and 2021, road trips accounted for most domestic overnight visits in Greece. In 2021, national road trips totaled roughly 3.7 million, representing around 76 percent of all domestic overnight journeys in the Mediterranean country. Meanwhile, Greek residents took 880 thousand domestic trips by water transport that year.
