Total content viewing hours of various streaming services in the UK 2022-2023
As of May 2023, subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) services Netflix and Amazon Prime Video held the highest share of total content viewing hours in the UK by a large margin, at over 30,000 content hours each. Other competing SVOD services, such as NOW and Discovery+ counted less than 20 thousand content viewing hours. Rakuten TV and Apple TV+ recorded some of the lowest viewing time in the UK between all streaming services examined in the study.
