Driftwood LNG terminal, owned by Tellurian Inc, is the largest liquefied natural gas terminal in construction or the proposal stage in the United States as of 2021. This terminal is located in Louisiana and has a planned processing capacity of 27.6 million metric tons per year. Also in Louisiana, CP2 LNG terminal is the second largest such project in the country, with a capacity of 24 million metric tons per year. The six largest projects in the U.S. are among the ten largest LNG terminals proposed or in construction worldwide.
