According to the 2019 survey, the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Finland were digitalizing their business processes when necessary. However, 15 percent of companies with employees and 26 percent of self-employed respondents said that digitalization has been at the core of their business culture since the beginning. Roughly 20 percent of Finnish employer companies also responded that business digitalization is systematic and they want to be forerunners in the field.
