Mortality rate of mental disorders in urban and rural China 2021, by gender
In 2021, the mortality rate of males with mental disorders living in rural China stood at 3.29 deaths per 100,000 population, whereas the figure was 3.07 deaths per 100,000 population in urban areas of China. Figures have shown that female residents had a higher death rate of mental disorders in both urban and rural regions.
