Share of population shopping online in the last three months in Italy 2008-2018
In 2018, only one in four Italians aged between 16 and 74 years had shopped online in the last three months. Despite representing a significant increase when compared to 2008 (when only seven percent of the population shopped online), this figure was still rather low compared to the average in the Euro-28 area, which amounted to 50 percent in 2018.
