Water consumption and use in the U.S. 2015

This report includes estimates of water withdrawals by state, source of water, and category of use. Water-use information complements the study of surface-water and groundwater availability, and is essential to understanding how future water demands will be met while maintaining adequate water quality and quantities for human and eco-system needs.
