In 2020, the revenue per available room (RevPAR) in the U.S. lodging industry dropped by over 47 percent compared to the previous year's 0.7 percent. RevPAR within the sector increased by 58.2 percent the following year and was forecast to increase by a little more than three percent in 2024.
