Leading online purchasing mindsets and scenarios worldwide 2018
This statistic presents the most common online shopping mindsets and scenarios according to online shoppers worldwide in 2018. During a survey of global shoppers, it was found that 61 percent of buying behavior fell into the mindset of shoppers already knowing which brand they wanted to buy. A total of 46 percent of shopping scenarios included shoppers knowing which brand and which specific product they wanted, such as a particular sneaker model from a specific brand. Only 39 percent of purchases were brand agnostic, highlighting the importance of brand loyalty during the shopping process.
