Card fraud threat levels in Europe 2018, by country

Fraud basis points are a measure of card fraud severity. In 2018, in the United Kingdom (UK) fraud basis points were recorded as 5.85. This meant that for every one hundred euros there was approximately 5.85 cents lost to fraud. The UK was also the country with the highest value of fraud losses in Europe. Romania and Russia, on the other hand, had fraud basis points of 0.12.
