This statistic shows the percentage of U.S. adults that have received treatment for a mental health condition and had taken prescription medication for their mental health as of April 2018, by age. According to the results, among those aged 18 to 34 years who had ever received mental health treatment, around 50 percent are currently taking medication for a mental health issue.
