In 2018, Aggreko employed 6,027 people. This was a loss of approximately 400 jobs when compared to 2015. The Scotland based company is part of the generator hire sector and delivers products for power generation and heating, cooling and dehumidification systems, loadbanks for electric power testing and energy storage equipment.
Aggreko’s revenue growth
Although employment figures had declined, the amount of revenues generated by Aggreko were increasing. In 2018, the company had made 1.76 billion British pounds in revenues, the highest figure since the beginning of the reporting period in 2011.
Global HVAC market
The global market for heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems was forecast to reach 208.55 billion U.S. dollars in value by 2024. This would be a 17 percent increase from the industry’s market value as reported in 2017.
