Most of the students who were engaged in higher education in Sweden in 2021 received both subsidies and student loans, amounting to roughly 207,000 people. Around 107,000 students did not receive any student grants from the government, whereas 50,000 received subsidies but no loans. There were 385,000 students i higher education in Sweden in 2021.
