Complaints on caregivers for abuse in U.S. dementia patients by type 2010
This statistic displays the distribution of abuse reported most often by U.S. caregivers of people with dementia as of 2010. Abut 60 percent of abuse of dementia patients were from verbal abuse from their caregivers. Elders with dementia are often at a greater risk of abuse than the general elderly population.
