Advancements in digital transformation in local PAs in Italy 2023

As of 2023, in Italy, artificial intelligence (AI) did not yet play a major role in the local public administration's digital transformation. In fact, about 72 percent of a 2023 survey respondents stated that AI is not advanced at all in their organization. Cloud transformation, on the other hand, was the initiative with the highest advancement, with 93 percent of the PAs claiming to be at least a little advanced and nearly 20 percent of these claiming a high or very high advancement.
