U.S. consumers: leading social media presence of travel services 2021, by generation
According to a survey conducted in 2021, 45 percent of Millennials in the United States stated that Booking.com was the travel accommodation service with the best social media presence. For Gen Z respondents, 42 percent reported Airbnb as the travel platform with the leading social media presence. Overall, around a quarter of respondents belonging to the Baby Boomer generation said that short-term rental service Sonder was the travel accommodation brand with the best online presence.
