Change in payment methods due to COVID-19 Singapore 2021
According to a payments survey conducted in Singapore in June 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic appears to have changed user preferences, with a decrease from 74 percent to 56 percent in cash use. This shift seems to have been in favor of peer-to-peer payments with an increase from 53 percent to 64 percent and mobile wallet use, rising from 31 percent to 41 percent.
