The new Quebec provincial budget was presented to the National Assembly on March 10, 2020. Several measures were announced in this budget, some of which were related to the fight against climate change. One of them is to encourage the purchase of electric vehicles through the implementation of tax credits. This initiative was rather strongly supported by Quebecers surveyed in March 2020. The most supportive of this measure were supporters of the Québec solidaire party.
