Number of TV channel bundle households in the U.S. 2016-2021
Data from 2016 to the first quarter of 2021 show that taking vMDPDs (Virtual Multichannel Video Programming Distributor) and MVPDs (Multichannel Video Programming Distributor) together, the big bundle of TV channels lost about ten million households in the United States. On one hand, MVPD subscriptions decreased by approximately 20 millions within the data period. On the other hand, vMVPD subscriptions increased by around ten million.
