YoY change in select food outlet sales during COVID-19 Singapore 2020
In 2020, the year-on-year (YoY) sales for cafes, food courts, and other eating places in Singapore contracted by 17 percent. Between mid-March and mid-June in 2020, Singapore implemented a comprehensive lockdown, called the 'circuit breaker' (CB), to curb the spread of the COVID-19 infection. During this period, the YoY sales for cafes, food courts, and other eating places decreased by 43 percent.
