Finland: distribution of emotions about independence

Based on the study results from December 2020, pride was the most common feeling among Finns toward independence of Finland. 42 percent of respondents stated that they felt pride about Finland's independence, followed by no emotion at 14 percent and contentment at 13 percent. Roughly eight percent of respondents had negative emotions related to the independence of the country.

The data on emotions was analyzed with the NayaDaya Empathy Analytics, based on the model of emotional experiences with 20 emotion choices.
