Peru's GDP energy intensity has experienced an overall downward trend in the past decade. In 2021, the South American country's final energy consumption amounted to 0.63 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per million U.S. dollars of GDP, a decrease of 12.5 percent in comparison to 2010.
