Expectations regarding changes due to increasing foreign nationals Japan 2019
According to a survey conducted from June to August 2019, a majority of almost 62 percent of respondents in Japan thought that an increasing number of foreigners living in the country would lead to a reduction of labor shortages. At the same time, almost 54 percent expected an increase in crime.
