This statistic displays the number of fishing vessels in Belgium from 2009 to 2017. In this period, the number of fishing vessels declined. In 2009, Belgium had approximately 90 fishing vessels. This decreased to 80 in 2013. In 2017, there were only 71 fishing vessels left. In comparison, in the same period in the Netherlands the number of fishing vessels decreased from 666 in 2009 to 594 in 2017.
