As surveyed in 2022, 68 percent of respondents in Vietnam stated that the lack of quality of goods compared to the advertised products was an obstacle to shopping online. Unclear or higher prices compared to in-store shopping channels and data security were also among the leading obstacles to online purchases, according to approximately 35 percent of Vietnamese respondents.
