This survey shows the likelihood of Russian audiences in 2018 to compare news sources, by age. There was a fairly even split between those who compare sources of information and those who trust mass media, however, this does not persist across all age groups. Just 35 percent of those aged 18 to 24 years of age say that they do not doubt news from mass media, while this figure climbs to 65 percent for people aged 55 years or older.
