Main challenges in managing e-commerce fraud worldwide 2022
According to a survey conducted at the end of 2022, almost four out of ten (38 percent) online merchants reported facing challenges in using data effectively to manage fraud. Additionally, slightly over one-third found it hard to identify and respond to emerging fraud attacks. Furthermore, nearly a quarter (24 percent) of the e-merchants surveyed indicated they lacked adequate internal resources to address the problem, while 22 percent stated they lacked internal expertise to handle fraud.
