For the second consecutive year, the Industry posted flat revenue gains of 1.6 percent, probably not even keeping up with inflation, with total Industry revenues in 2010 of $654.3 billion. The Industry saw a dramatic reduction in collective company charges in 2010, relative to 2009 — $1.7 billion versus $10.5 billion, respectively. Most of the global Industry’s 2009 charges were taken by four companies: Boeing, EADS, BAE Systems, and Oshkosh Corporation.
